Early Beginnings

Originally informally developed as a competitive intelligence group for the oil and gas sector in 1998, Demiurge Consulting has transformed into a mature private intelligence and counterintelligence consultancy addressing the specific needs of the energy, technology, pharmaceutical and financial sectors today.  Developing key actionable intelligence and leveraging decision support for our clientele was our sole core competency.

The Counterintelligence Initiative

Recognizing the apparent weakness with most security initiatives across the board, Demiurge Consulting developed a core technical team dedicated to our clients’ information and physical security requirements in the early part of 2002.  It was a logical step, as we were the very harvesters of intelligence, facilitated by weak security protocol and policy enforcement.

Protective Behavior

In the middle of 2003, as a special request by a key partner, Demiurge Consulting developed an “advance team” intelligence unit.  This team was responsible for the preemptive intelligence gathering and analysis of specific regions, groups, locales and known hostile environments.  Their purpose was to ascertain the geo-political risks and threat vectors of a given environment, domestic and abroad, prior to the client’s arrival.  Much of this activity was carried out in Kuwait, The Emirates and Iraq between 2003 and 2005.

Today & The Future

Today, Demiurge Consulting continues to deliver a steady flow of custom intelligence reports, countermeasure systems and protective services to a select group of clientele.
